After discovering our broken gray water tank, and unsuccessfully attempting to get it fixed in El Paso, we headed on to Tucson. No water for washing does put a crimp in our plans, but carefully chosen campgrounds and waterless hand cleaners, along with a substantial supply of paper plates will allow us to keep on going.<\/p>\n
Tucson is one of our favorite desert cities, and Gilbert Ray campground is our favorite stopping place. There’s a mountain barrier between us and the city, but with a nice pass to get there. We went in to attempt some banking (unsuccessfully) but stopped at Lerua’s for a nice supper, and then a dash back to camp so Mary Ann could get some photos in.<\/p>\n
