Each of these was recorded in the San Luis lobby near the door connecting to the Condo area.  Since the Condo area external doors were letting in some winds (not all) there was quite a lot of wind pressure on that connecting door.  We&#8217;re lucky it didn&#8217;t take anyone&#8217;s hand off when it slammed shut several times.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.henrymelton.com\/Sounds\/HurricaneIke\/Sep12-2008-2_34_30PM.mp3\">11 seconds.  2:34 in the afternoon easily 12 hours before the real peak winds.<\/a><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.henrymelton.com\/Sounds\/HurricaneIke\/Sep12-2008-2_34_30PM.mp3\">MP3 116KB<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.henrymelton.com\/Sounds\/HurricaneIke\/Sep13-2008-12_13_01AM.mp3\">1 minute five seconds.  12:13 AM an hour or so before the eye.
