On the way home from work, I noticed an anti-sunset starting to form. An antisunset is a subtle, but beautiful array of dark rays centering on the spot exactly opposite the sun. At sunset, when the atmosphere and the clouds are perfect, the sunset’s dark brother can be seen in the east. It has proved hard to photograph, and even in this case, I have had to enhance the sky digitally to make it visible to other people.
